No I But The I Am is an artistic and theoretical exploration of life, being, and embodiment.  It focuses on the interconnections between and among bodies, living and corporeal. Questioning Western philosophical and historical conceptions of the subject as a single, individually bound organism, I attempt to unbind body-boundaries between human, animal, plant and material life. This project is thought processing made visual.  Through it I ask “How is one ever 1 when everyone is always many: consisting of various other organisms, bacteria, cells, and fungi?”
